Government spending is a hard thing to get a handle on.  I mean, it’s difficult to even comprehend the concept of a trillion dollars until someone says, “If you started the day Jesus Christ was born and spent $1 MILLION every day since then, you still wouldn’t have spent $1 TRILLION.”  Senator Mitch McConnell (R-KY)

The government says the stimulus just passed will cost $789 billion.  But is the government ever right in predicting the actual cost of legislation?  NO…they always underestimate The Heritage Foundation puts “the true 10 year cost of the stimulus bill [at] $2.527 trillion in spending with another $744 billion cost in debt servicing.  Total bill for the Generational Theft Act: $3.27 trillion.”
